WORLD’S SLIMMEST PHONE IN INDIA

China based smartphone brand vivo launched its first phone in India, vivo X5 max, clamied to be the slimmest phone in the world ,just 4.75mm thick. The device first appeared on the Chinese certification website TENNA few months back and was rumored with an insane 3.8mm thickness, but nothing like that happened.

This slender device boast a good specification sheet, it is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 64-bit octa core processor, adreno 405 GPU, 2 gigabytes of RAM. The dispay is a massive 5.5 inch super AMOLED with a resolution of 1080 x 1900 displaying 401 pixels per inch (ppi). On the rear is a 13MP shutter as secondary and 5MP secondary camera with a wide angle lens.

There are some soecial features too like mini screen mode, air gesture control, apart from them there is an interesting feature too, the dual sim slots are switchable. You can either optto use micro sim and nano sim side by side,or switch the nano sim with a micro SD card.

With all these offerings the phone have some drawbacks too like the battery is only 2000Mah which looks little for this massive phone and the other drawback is the price, With a price tag of Rs 32,890 it is well over priced as compared to it’s competition OnePlus one by nearly Rs 10000. While many Chinese companies entered India with offering budget friendly smartphones,  It would be interesting to see how the vivo’s pricing strategy pays off to them.
